A treat is in store for Southern fans at next month's IIFA Awards in Singapore. Shahid Kapoor will add high-octane Southern musical hits to the play list for his performance, which he is also co-hosting. A mix of heavy-duty Tamil movie tracks interspersed with a few Hindi songs seems to be the actor's modus operandi, perhaps an indication that Sasha is looking to let go of his chocolate boy image.
Chartbusters on the play list reportedly include Annathe Adurar (Aboorva Sagotharargal) and Apadi Podu (Gilli), and Shahid's routine will be choreographed by no less a person than the rubber-jointed Prabhu Deva. While the actor was unavailable for comment, a friend said, "The kind of dance Shahid is doing this time is something he's never done before. And since Prabhu Deva is choreographing it, there will be a lot of high-energy movements.
Since it's a first, it's taken him longer to get his movements right. Usually, he doesn't rehearse much and perfects his moves within a day. This time, he has rehearsed for about four days." Don't know about you, but we certainly can't wait. Are you a Shahid fan? Here he is dancing to Dhan Te Na, like never before, at NDTV-Toyota Greenathon 4:
