Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, both Yash Raj protégées, seem to be facing a similar sort of a situation. But news has it that the rivalry is not just professional here but a personal one as well. According to a tabloid report, Arjun Kapoor recently threw a party at his place which had Anushka and Ranveer part of the guest list. Now for those who don’t know, post her alleged break up with Ranveer, Anushka was rumoured to be dating Arjun Kapoor for some time. While the two insisted that they are just friends, former boyfriend Ranveer wasn’t pleased with the news.

So when Ranveer and Anushka, who are back to talking terms, landed at Arjun’s party together, cold vibes between the two actors could be felt by all. Although they both greeted each other and were cordial, onlookers felt that they were a bit uncomfortable. Speaking to the tabloid, a source said, "Now that Ranveer and Anushka are friends again, the former isn`t too happy with Arjun`s reported closeness to the actress.” Besides, there is also a bit of professional rivalry between the two actors. Both were launched by Yash Raj Films, and their films worked at the Box Office. Add to that, their alleged bonding with the same girl just makes this rivalry a bit ‘filmy’.
