The ‘Mausam’ hero Shahid Kapoor recently took to Twitter to announce that he is all done with the shooting of the film. Speaking about his flick, Shahid tweeted, "Final patchwork is done. It's a wrap for me on Mausam.” ‘Mausam’, helmed by Shahid’s dad Pankaj Kapoor, has been amid controversies ever since its production started. Moreover, lead actress Sonam Kapoor, who will be seen romancing Shahid in the film, was also on leave for a brief period because she was not in the pink of health. However, despite all these hindrances, Shahid’s ‘Mausam’ is finally complete.

Shahid’s ‘Mausam’ affects Kunal Kohli’s next Reports are trickling in that the release date of ‘Muasam’ has been altered, and this change has affected filmmaker Kunal Kohli’s forthcoming untitled movie starring the actor opposite Priyanka. Earlier ‘Mausam’ was scheduled to release on Sept. 9, but the release date of the film has been postponed and the flick has been slated for a Sept. 16 release. Consequently, Kohli, who had planned the shooting of his next on September after the release of ‘Mausam’, now has to work out his dates, because in September Shahid will be busy with the promotional activities of his dad’s film.

Confirming the reports, Kunal said, "We had to adjust dates as Mausam is now released on the September 16. These days an artiste needs time for publicity and Shahid was justified in that. So, we decided to shoot the UK portions in July but the hitch was Priyanka's dates which were with Basu. So, I just picked up the phone and called Basu with whom I share a good rapport. “We didn't want to break the flow of the shoot. In fact, Shahid was keen to shoot the Punjab schedule but I insisted on the UK schedule as the weather is right. Now we will shoot the Punjab schedule after Mausam releases."

In the film, Shahid portrays the character of an air force officer, and it’s learnt that the actor underwent air force training for a month. Moreover, Sasha will be seen flying an F-16 fighter plane in ‘Mausam’, thereby setting new benchmarks for other actors. He is the first celeb to have flown an F-16 fighter plane till date. Actor Pankaj Kapoor, who will be making his directorial debut with the film, will also be seen acting in it. ‘Mausam’ is the first film where Shahid will be seen sharing screen space with his father. The film has apparently been shot in London, Edinburgh, Switzerland, and India. The film, produced by Sheetal Vinod Talwar and Sunil Lulla, is all set to hit the silver screens on Sept. 16.
