The world works on hope. Everyone we see around works on hope. But it seems, this time, hope will make you wait much longer than expected. Those who were hoping to catch the first teaser of the much-awaited Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’, which was to be showcased with ‘Rowdy Rathore’ on June 1, might have to wait a little longer.
According to the sources, the cause of the delay is said to be the differences between the director and the producers of the film. There is a clash of ideology on where and how to unveil the promo. A source has revealed that Madhur had cut a very hard-hitting teaser that showed Kareena smoking and drinking. But the producers seemed to be disagreeing with Madhur Bhandarkar, they felt that the Censors won’t release it without cuts and had apparently asked Madhur to re-shoot it.
Bhandarkar, who plans to re-shoot the promo, reportedly said that he wanted the teaser to reach as many people as possible. He also said that he would be including some very powerful shots in the new teaser. Does this mean that the release of the movie would be delayed? Would the audience have to wait a little longer to watch the movie? We hope not, as Madhur summed up by saying it would be worth the wait.
