Yash Raj Films has scheduled the release of their forthcoming romantic-thriller Ek Tha Tiger on 1 June, next year. The film has Salman Khan playing an undercover agent for India's external intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). He is supposed to be a RAW agent who is taught to blend with the mainstream, to not stand out in a crowd and to be as non-descript as possible.

Director Kabir Khan has done extensive research and is looking to give an entirely new dimension to Khan's personality. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. It would be shot in five countries - Chile in South America, Dublin in Ireland and Istanbul are confirmed so far. The film will go on the floors at the end of this month.
