After missing the IPL 5 inaugural event in April, to apparently avoid bumping into rival Salman Khan (who was performing at the ceremony), actor and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan might miss the grand closing ceremony too. According to reports, Salman Khan is going to perform at the finale too and this is apparently the key reason for SRK to skip the ceremony.

The closing ceremony is set to witness biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan and Beyonce, who'll set the stage on fire with their performances. Shah Rukh and Salman are known to maintain a distance and one of them is usually missing from events that require both to be present.

Also, SRK had recently disclosed to the media that right-now, he's got all his attention focused on YRF's film opposite Katrina Kaif and that seemed like a notification of sorts indicating that he might be conspicuous by his absence from the future events.

Interestingly, before the inauguration of IPL 5, a source had indicated the same to Dailybhaskar.com, the source said, "To avoid unnecessary tensions, SRK perhaps may remain absent." But, with reports of Karan Johar's grand plans of reuniting the Khan duo, by calling both for his grand birthday bash to be held on May 25, 2012, we might as well see SRK and Salman walking hand in hand like old times, what say guys?
