IPL 5 Points Table remains clogged at the top The Indian Premier League 5 is almost in its last stage but the teams who are likely to qualify to the play-offs are still not clear. Gautam Gambhir led-Kolkata Knight Riders and his friend Virender Sehwag's Delhi Daredevils are contending for the top spot.

Points Table

Kolkata are currently the number one team with 17 points in 12 matches while Delhi are placed second with 16 points in 11 matches, though the Daredevils have better net run rate than the Knight Riders. That means Delhi still have a chance more than the KKR to take the top spot.

Star-studded Mumbai Indians are currently placed third with 14 points in 12 matches. Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab have 12 points each but the Rahul Dravid-led team is ahead because of the higher net run rate. While Punjab are capable of surprising, Rajasthan are the dark horses.

Defending champions Chennai Super Kings are still struggling to get their foothold and are placed sixth. However, they have the potential, and history backs this, to sneak into the play-offs. Bangalore, despite some good wins, have managed to score just 11 points from 11 matches.

Pune Warriors team, the most popular team of this season because of the Ganguly factor, have struggled to carry on the momentum that they had started the season with. They have lost six matches on a trot, nine out of 13 in total, and are placed just ahead of Deccan Chargers, who have just five points in 12 matches.
