The latest buzz in B town is that of Salman Khan donning the uniform of Lovely Singh once again for the sequel, Bodyguard 2, to his massive hit Bodyguard. If a close source (read Bodyguard co-producer plus Sallu’s bro-in law) is to believed, there is talk that Salman Khan has agreed to the possibility of taking Lovely Singh’s story forward. Given that the character is still young and had had no kids or family since the story of the original concluded, there remains a fair chance of taking an all new track to the blockbuster story.

Therefore, it seems that there is every possibility of the sequel being made. What industry insiders say is that Salman has even given dates for the sequel–though this is not a confirmed piece of news. All we know is that Sallu Bhai is shooting in Dublin with ex lady love Katrina Kaif for the Yash Raj high end production “Ek Tha Tiger.” The actor himself has conceded to the fact that he has made himself available for Big Boss on Colors post this movie shoot. Now it remains to be seen if the sequel and the shooting for Bodyguard 2 begins in the near future or not. As of now we are happy with reruns of Bodyguard!
