After Emraan Hashmi's turn in hit movie, The Dirty Picture, the actor is up next in Kunal Deshmukh's Jannat 2 which releases today. The movie is a sequel to the 2008 hit film Jannat which was based on the underbelly of match-fixing. In the sequel, Emraan portrays the role of a small town boy named Sonu Dili KKC who comes to Delhi with big dreams and gets trapped in illegal arms trade.

"This is the most entertaining character I have played till date. In 2008, I played Arjun Dixit in Jannat and that was by far my favourite character. This character is funnier, more entertaining and has got grey shades, but he is extremely endearing," Emraan said about his role during the music launch of the film. Model Eesha Gupta, who makes her debut in Bollywood with this film, also believes this will be Emraan's film.

"It's a Bhatt camp (Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt) film. You know, the film is going to be amazing because of its music. Thanks to Pritam (Chakraborty), we have got amazing music and the star already, you know, Emraan Hashmi! What else do you think is the USP of the film," she said at a recent interview. With three successful films from last year to his credit, all eyes are set on Emraan with this installment of the Jannat franchise.
