The evergreen star of Bollywood Anil Kapoor is a fitness freak and he treats a gymnasium as a temple, the actor said sharing the secret of his youthfulness. While sharing his fitness secrets, Anil also took a dig at the stars who depended on steroids to show off their muscles.
Headlines Today captured the macho brigade from Shootout at Wadala as it thronged a gym launch in Mumbai. From Tusshar Kapoor to Ronit Roy and Sonu Sood, Bollywood's muscle pumping men made an inspiring sight. As Anil talked of fitness, he undoubtedly was the centre of attention for obvious reasons.
Asked about the secret behind his thirty-plus looks and pat came his reply: "Gym mera mandir hai." Thanks to rigorous workouts, Anil boasts of sporting the real stuff and smartly takes a jibe at B-town's fake brigade. "Woh computer pe jaake apni six-pack bana lete hain aur yeh toh bada aasan hai. Jo unke thode bahut jo problem areas hote hain woh computer chupa deta hai. Toh aisa joh hai, main soch raha hoon ki main bhi karoon," the star said sarcastically.
Taking off his shades and caressing his face, Mr India said, "Mere jo muscles hain, woh sab yahan hain, mere paas acting ka muscle hai." Anil named Akshay Kumar among some of the fit actors of Bollywood whom he admired. "Fitness ke baare mein, mujhe Akshay Kumar bahut fit lagte hain. Mujhe nahin lagta unhone kabhi bhi steroids liye hain," he said. While Anil was all for naturally acquired physique, there were also other stars in Bollywood whom he looked up to as he appreciated the bodies of Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar.
