Actors Ranbir and Shahid Kapoor may be living hectic and crazed lives, professionally, leaving them with little time to concentrate on their personal lives. But when reports of their alleged link-ups surface, it is not right to not hold them responsible for it. According to a daily, both the young and eligible B-Town actors are being used by the likes of Nargis Fakhri, Angela Jonsson and Australian model Kristina Akheeva.

 It has been reported that each of these models have been talking about their link-ups with these bachelors to ensure they stay in news. But, what’s new in this, we ask. Whether it is a romantic linkup, verbal duels, fist fights or doing nude/intimate scenes, we have had several actors resorting to either of these options to hog the limelight.

A daily has reported that it is Kristina now who seemed to be vowed by Shahid. A source has been quoted as saying, “Shahid and Kristina met at a brand shoot and have become friends. They began partying together soon after, with mutual friends in tow. He even took Kristina to a house party. She was also invited to his birthday party in Goa. Since then, the two have become even closer.

” When asked about Shahid, Kristina said, “We hang out in a group with mutual friends. I met him socially through a make up artist friend. He’s a great guy but it’s just pure friendship between us.” This statement may help Kristina grab the eyeballs, but wouldn’t this also help Shahid stay in news?

Did the source mention “closer”? Haven’t we been overfed reports suggesting Shahid’s so-called interest in firangi babes? Before the release of “Rockstar”, Pakistani-American model Nargis and Ranbir were reportedly seeing each other. But post the release, reports of them not being a couple began doing the rounds, understandably so! Within a few months, there was news of Nargis being close to Shahid.

 It all started with Nargis attending Shahid's bikini party earlier in March. Soon tabloids and internet was abuzz with rumors of the duo seeing each other. This was followed by reports suggesting that Nargis had even moved in with Shahid. But what kicked-off as an interesting story had the whiff of a carefully prepared and planned publicity stunt. So when Nargis was quoted as saying, ”I’m not dating Shahid Kapoor”, people weren’t too shocked.

The Kingfisher calendar girl Angela Jonsson, who was spotted with Ranbir Kapoor at several hotspots in March 2011, was introduced at Shahid’s birthday last year. But the sexy newbie has spoken about the Bollywood actors to ensure the focus remains on them. Whether these love affairs are concocted or not, what remains clear is the fact that the actors, involved in the relationship, end up gaining publicity. Doesn’t this validate the point – any publicity is good publicity?
