The release date of Rowdy Rathore has been preponed to June 1 from June 15. Coincidently, the leading lady of the film, Sonakshi Sinha’s birthday falls one day after the release, that is, June 2.

Sona considers RD to be her birthday gift and wishes that the film will be a super hit. Actually, Rowdy… was scheduled for June 15 release, but as soon as the release date of Aamir Khan’s starrer Talaash was shifted to later this year, the makers of RD saw a clean ground for the movie to release. The movie also happens to release after the audience will get free from Indian Premiere League which stars Akshay Kumar as the male lead.
