Shahid Kapoor will finally begin to shoot for his next film remake of Tamil hit film ‘Vettai’. A leading daily had reported that Shahid had asked Linguswamy, the director of the film to rope in a Hindi dialogue writer for the film. Linguswamy had earlier planned to translate the original Tamil dialogues in Hindi on

own. Since Linguswamy has limited grasp on Hindi language thus Shahid wasn’t very keen on going ahead on the film without a Hindi dialogue writer. The director agreed with Shahid and thus asked UTV, the producers of the film to engage a writer of their own choice. According to the reports, UTV has approached Prasoon Joshi to write the dialogues of the film. He will work in tandem with the Tamil dialogue writer so as to retain the essence of the original dialogues.

The film will reportedly feature Ali Zafar and Ileana D’Cruz as well. Zafar will play screen brother (elder) to Shahid. The Tamil action film is a story of two brothers played by Arya and Madhavan who will be replaced by Shahid and Zafar respectively. This is Linguswamy’s debut film in Bollywood. The film is expected to go on floors in the first week of May at the Ramoji Film City.
