Tezz, starring the likes of Ajay Devgan, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy, has been riding on a lot of buzz. But the film took a very slow start at box office on Friday with the audience response ranging between 25 percent to 35 percent. The film has got mixed reviews from critics and will need a magical turnaround at box office on Saturday and Sunday to be able to register a good opening weekend collection. A tough road ahead indeed for Tezz.
Movie Review:'Tezz' is fast but leaves you furious The winner at box office on the opening day is the new Hollywood release The Avengers. The film has a host of Hollywood A-listers and released in both 3D and 2D versions, including the ones dubbed in Hindi. The film got a terrific response from the audience on Friday and the footfalls are expected to increase on Saturday and Sunday. The film has got excellent reports and the audience reaction too has been very positive, with some viewers claiming that they would return for a second watch.
Movie Review: 'The Avengers' is simply awesome The other release of this Friday, Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi, was a washout. The last week’s release Vicky Donor rounded off its first week with a collection of Rs. 13.50 crore. Given the shoestring budget it was made on, the film is headed for the HIT status. The other release of last week, Hate Story too fared well at box office. It’s first week collection is a little less than Rs. 11 crore. The next week would see the release of the Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta starrer Jannat 2.
