20th over: 143 for 7 Patel finishes the proceedings for RCB. The medium-pacer from Haryana bowls really well. He picks up his second wicket of the night, getting Brad Hogg caught at extra cover by Vinay Kumar.

18th over: 130 for 6 Vinay has been brought back into the attack. Three singles off the first three balls, then a four past mid-off by Binny. Two more singles to finish Vinay's fourth over. He once again proved expensive, giving away 37 runs without any wicket.

17th over: 121 for 6 Zaheer returns. After a single off the first, Cooper smacks the second over extra cover for a boundary, a dot ball follows, and then another four through the same region. Khan comes back strongly on the fifth, bowling a slow delivery and getting the batsman caught at mid-off by Vettori. Just two runs to end the over.

16th over: Vettori bowls his last over and though he hasn't picked up any wicket, he gives away just 20 runs in his four overs.

15th over: 103 for 5 Patel bowls his third over. Hodge takes a couple off the first, and guides the second past point for a boundary. Another couple of runs before he is caught by Agarwal at deep square-leg. The wicket of Hodge also ends Rajasthan's hope.

It also ends a brilliant spell by the slow left-armer, whose figure reads 4 for 19. Rajasthan are in deep trouble now. Hard to see them coming back into the match from this stage.

13th over: Vettori returns for his third over and gives away just three runs. Dravid and Co. will have to start swinging now.

12th over: 88 for 3 Double blow for Rajasthan. After losing the wicket of Shah, who comes down the track and is stumped off Appanna, his replacement Shreevats Goswami too holes out at deep midwicket. Great stuff by the slow left-armer, who gets his third wicket.

11th over: 80 for 1 Patel's second over yields 13 runs. First, Shah dispatches him for a six over the deep square leg boundary and then Dravid punches one through extra cover for another four to bring up his half-century.

10th over: 67 for 1 Barring the last delivery which is right in the slot for Dravid to play a lofted drive over extra cover, Appanna bowls a good second over, giving away eight runs.

9th over: 59 for 1 Harshal Patel comes into bowl and gives away just two runs. Dravid is suddenly finding it hard timing the ball and Owais Shah, expectedly, is taking his time.

8th over: 57 for 1 Vettori brings left-arm spinner Appanna into the attack and he strikes immediately. Rahane comes down the track and lofts the spinner in an attempt to clear long-on but is caught by substitute Pomersbach. Just one off this over. A very good start by Appanna.

7th over: 56 for no loss A couple through extra cover brings up the fifty-run stand between Dravid and Rahane. Dravid gets forward and defends the next Vettori delivery. A drive through midwicket fetches another two, a single towards long-on, then Rahane works it through midwicket for a couple and a single to finish the over.

6th over: 48 for no loss Dravid starts the sixth over with a brilliant pull for a four through deep midwicket. Next ball is a full toss, which is driven wide of mid-off for another cracking boundary. A single off the third, and mis-field at mid-on gives Rahane his first boundary. Two dot balls to finish the over.

5th over: 35 for no loss RCB skipper Daniel Vettori comes into the attack and gives away just four runs. Only four singles have come in this over.

4th over: 31 for no loss A very good over from Vinay. He is very close to getting Rahane, who plays across the line and is trapped right in front of the wicket. But umpire thinks otherwise and gives him a lifeline. Only six runs have come off this over.

3rd over: 25 for no loss Zaheer continues for RCB. Dravid takes a single off the first, a dot ball follows, and then Rahane gets a single off the third. Dravid guides an away-going delivery from the right of point fielder for a boundary. Another dot and a single to end the third over.

2nd over: 18 for no loss Vinay Kumar drags one short and Dravid pulls it through midwicket for a boundary. The next two are on target and Dravid defends them well off the front foot. Five overthrows end Kumar's first over, which yields 10 runs.

1st over: 8 for no loss Zaheer is on the mark from ball one. Dravid defends a good length ball outside off for no run, a wide down the leg side opens the account for Rajasthan, a dot then an uppish drive, which hits the outside edge before getting past the point fielder. Three more singles finish Zaheer's first over.

Royal Challengers Bangalore innings:

20th over: RCB finish with a massive 189 for 3. Dilshan and de Villiers put on 122 runs in just 50 balls for the fourth wicket. Rajasthan gives away 82 runs in the last five overs. Dilshan finishes with 76 off 58, while de Villiers remains unbeaten on 59 off just 23 balls. Cooper's last over goes for 15 runs.

19th over: 174 for 3 After four runs off the first three balls, Trivedi messes it up completely on the last three, as he is thrashed for a six, a four and another six by de Villiers, who brings up the second fastest fifty of this year's IPL, bringing it up in just 20 balls. Trivedi's fourth over yields 21 runs.

18th over: Great stuff from de Villiers. The South African smacks a straight six off Cooper and plays a paddle sweep off a low full toss between point and short third man for another boundary. Another full toss and another four, a leg bye, to end the 18th over.

17th over: 136 for 3 Two singles are followed by two boundaries. The ball seems to have slipped out of Hogg's hand and it is an above-the-waist no-ball. Dilshan helps it over the short fine-leg fielder. He cuts out the next one through the point region for another four. Three singles to end Hogg's spell.

16th over: 122 for 3 The fifty-run partnership between Dilshan and de Villiers has come up in just 22 balls. Dilshan smacks a good length ball straight over Trivedi's head for a six and follows it up with a four off a full toss on middle. Another single brings up Dilshan's fifty. A well-taken three off the next ball, a single and a dot off the fifth and sixth respectively.

15th over: 107 for 3 Despite a boundary off his last ball, Cooper has bowled a good over. He has troubled the RCB batsmen with his deliveries in the blockhole. Eight runs have off this over by Cooper, whose previous over was a maiden.

14th over: 99 for 3 Hogg in his third over. An appeal on the first ball, then three runs off a misfield at short third-man by Pankaj Singh. Two dot balls follow, and then Dilshan finds the gap through deep square leg for a boundary and two runs to end the over.

13th over: 89 for 3 Two sixes by de Villiers spoil an otherwise good spell by Chandila. First one sails over the deep mid-wicket fence, while the batsman steps out on the second and hits it in the same region. The offspinner finishes with none for 29 in his four overs.

12th over: 75 for 3 It's all over for Gayle. He only faced eight balls before being trapped lbw by Hogg. Superb stuff by the spinner from Western Australia. A misfield by Cooper at long-on allows AB de Villiers to get off the mark with a well-taken three. Five wides down the leg side and a googly finish Hogg's second over.

Dilshan takes a single off the first, a pull off a shortish delivery gives Agarwal two, a dot ball follows, and then Agarwal sweeps high off the next ball but holes out to Brad Hodge at deep Square-leg. Dilshan gets another single and gives the strike to Gayle, who immediately gets off the mark.

9th over: 57 for 1 News on Chris Gayle: The Jamaican has not come on to bat as he is slightly ill. Dilshan takes a well-taken couple from the right of third man and follows it up with his famous scoop shot over fine-leg. A leg-bye off the fifth and a dot end Trivedi's second over.

8th over: 50 for 1 Last over by Pankaj. Agarwal starts off the over with a boundary over mid-off and gets another four when a bouncer by the bowler kissed his gloves before making its way over the keeper. Two more runs off the next four balls finish Pankaj's spell of 1 for 32.

7th over: 40 for 1 Siddharth Trivedi, who took 4 for 25 when the two sides met last time in Bangalore, gets the ball. A single off the first, a dot ball follows, Dilshan takes a single through square leg, another dot ball and two singles to end the over.

6th over: 37 for 1 Pankaj bowls his third over on the trot and two short balls produce two cracking pull shots for boundaries by Dilshan, who is looking in an ominous touch. Ten runs from this over as Bangalore look to move on after a cautious start.

5th over: 27 for 1 Kevon Cooper comes into the attack and bowls an unplayable delivery to new batsman Mayank Agarwal, who replaces Kohli. The batsman finally manages to take a single off the third ball. Dilshan takes a leg-bye off the fourth, another dot ball and a missed chance off the last ball. Stuart Binny spills what seems like a dolly in the covers. Still no Chris Gayle for Bangalore. Strange!

4th over: 25 for 1 Pankaj strikes for Rajasthan. Kohli, who has been short of runs so far in the tournament, miscues a lofted shot over covers and gives a simple catch to Hodge at deep point. Just two runs off the over and a wicket. Good stuff by the tall pacer.

2nd over: 15 for no loss Pankaj Singh gets the ball. The first ball remains low, a bad misfield by Chandila at third-man off the second gives Kohli his first boundary, then two dot balls, an uppish drive over covers by Kohli for four and a well-stolen two off the last finish the second over.

1st over: 5 for no loss A surprising move by Rajasthan to start with. Ajit Chandila, the offspinner from Haryana, starts the proceedings for the home side. And it's been a good first over. Just four runs have come off it. A single and a two by Kohli, while Dilshan is also off the mark with a single.

7:40 p.m. Rahul Dravid of Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their IPL game in Jaipur on Monday.
