If they didn't have an 11-year age difference, you could actually send the snapshots of Jannat 2 debutante Esha Gupta and Lara Dutta for one of those 'separated at birth' photo features. Esha, 23-year-old sexy Miss India International 2007, is all set to make her big Bollywood debut opposite Emraan Hashmi in Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt's upcoming Jannat 2. Bollywood buffs noted her likeness to Lara no sooner than the first promo of the film was launched.

The timing of Esha's debut couldn't have been better, considering lookalike Lara, who scorched the Hindi screen with her oomph for close to a decade since her 2003 debut Andaaz, is all but retired after marriage to tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi and motherhood.

"The similarity in looks is uncanny. Both girls are tall and have a westernised image, and there is an obvious sameness in their facial features. While that much is sheer coincidence, you cannot gloss over the fact that Esha, so far at least, bears a professional graph identical to Lara's.

They have both been beauty queens and won the Miss India crown before moving on to modelling for a while," a Jannat 2 unit hand source said. Both these girls have made fabulous bikini statements all along, too. If Lara is best recalled for her twopiece avatar in the 2009 flick, Blue, Esha's best bikini shot was as a Kingfisher calendar girl in 2010. Lara, of course, went on to win the Miss Universe crown in 2000, while Esha lost out in the Miss International 2007 contest.

Esha, on the other hand, has already been offered three films by the Bhatts. After Jannat 2 opens on May 4, she will be seen in Raaz 3 opposite Emraan and also has a parallel female lead with Sunny Leone opposite Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda in Jism 2.
