While Bollywood swears by its camps, Salman Khan is one star who believes in building his own coterie of friends. Be it his leading actresses, music directors or upcoming actors, he is always ready to lend his support. Salman was recently spotted at various promotional events of Bittoo Boss as he firmly stood behind the newcomer, Pulkit Samrat.

It was Salman who also pushed Boney Kapoor's son Arjun Kapoor to act in Ishaqzaade. He reportedly advised Arjun to lose some weight for the role in the film. Apart from newcomers, Salman has always encouraged fresh faces in his films, be it Katrina Kaif, Zarine Khan, Sneha Ullal, Sonakshi Sinha or Angela Johnson.

For reasons best known to Salman, Sneha was launched with Lucky: No Time For Love in 2005. Unfortunately, the actress's career failed to take off from there. When the same thing happened with Zarine, Salman was ready with an item number for her. With his super hit film Dabangg, Salman introduced the village belle Sonakshi. Now, he is introducing Angela with Sher Khan. While singer Himesh Reshamiya swears by Salman's friendship, it is the musician duo Sajid-Wajid who too got a number of chances by the actor. Salman is said to be the driving force behind brother Arbaaz Khan's career and Dabangg 2 as well. Being a friend, philosopher and guide, Salman is surely one person in the industry to count upon.
