Canadian adult entertainer Sunny Leone, who is set to make her Bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt's Jism 2, has been happy these days. The actor tweeted her excitement over officially becoming an Indian resident. "I have the greatest news today everyone!!! I am officially a resident of INDIA!!!!!! Wooohoooo," she posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Sunny's country of origin India gave her a platform allowing her the recognition she sought. She had garnered all the attention after her stint in the reality TV show Bigg Boss as an inmate of the house of controversies where she caught Mahesh Bhatt's eye. Having bagged the lead role in his Jism 2, there seems no turning back for the actress.

Sunny has been working hard on her language skills and has been busy mastering her Hindi for her eagerly awaited debut in the film industry here. It is interesting to note how the Indian-Canadian star has been widely accepted and embraced in the country. Now, with a resident card, Sunny sure can get herself her own little pad. There was, however, no confirmation on Sunny buying her house as yet though.
