The first uncensored trailer of 'Bittoo Boss' created quite a big uproar for its explicit content, however the negative publicity more or less went in favour of the film only. What else could the producer of a small budget film want?
Directed by Supavitra Babul, 'Bittoo Boss' stars Pulkit Samrat and Amita Pathak in the lead roles. The story revolves around a small town videographer Bittoo who almost has a celebrity status in his locality. He is the most wanted person in every wedding. Happy with his life, Bittoo doesn't discriminate among her clients. His sole aim is to make a wedding look wonderful and glossy.
A dramatic change happens in Bittoo's life when he falls in love with Amita Pathak. Now the boy has to earn a lot of money in limited time. This prompts him to go for unusual methods. Though it's his first film but Pulkit Samrat is a known face for TV viewers. He had played the character of Lakshya Virani in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'.
On the other hand, the heroine Amita Pathak has an earlier release 'Haal-E-Dil'. The film had bombed at the box office but that did not deter Amita from pursuing acting as career. 'Bittoo Boss' comes from the same makers who had earlier produced 'Pyaar ka Punchnama'. They were proved successful in their last venture and this time too they have not left any stone unturned in promoting their film.
The songs of the film have not become a rage but they have been liked by certain sections of the audiences. 'Kick lag gayi' and 'Audi' are being played in discos and pubs. Promos of the film have shown some similarities with the 2010 Yash Raj film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' but the director has refuted about any similarities between 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and 'Bittoo Boss' other than the similarities in the names of the lead actors and the backdrop of marriage. 'Bittoo Boss' has an advantage that no big film is releasing alongside it, but the audience has become smarter now so the film will be successful only if the content is good.
