It’s no hidden fact that Salman Khan takes a lot of personal interest in his projects. But the rumour had it that Sallu’s personal interest in the making of Dabangg 2 doesn’t just border on making suggestions but has translated into taking over the directorial cap from Arbaaz Khan, the producer and director of the sequel.

Now, Arbaaz Khan has himself come forward and scotched the rumours. “I agree Salman is extremely experienced and we'd be stupid not to take his advice. But on the sets, there is a very democratic atmosphere. Right from the spotboy to the actors, they are all welcome to make suggestions. I listen to everyone but do exactly what I want to,” Arbaaz is quoted as saying in a media interview.

Arbaaz has been involved with Dabangg 2 for over a year now and has been part of the film’s scripting, casting and now shooting. He has taken over the directorial reins from Abhinav Kashyap who directed Dabangg but opted out of Dabangg 2.
