Sonakshi Sinha has been signed on to play Akshay Kumar's love interest in the much awaited sequel of Milan Luthria's 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai'. Sonakshi will be seen playing gangster Shoaib's (played by Akshay Kumar) moll in the film.

This will be Sonakshi's third film with Akshay after 'Joker' and 'Rowdy Rathore'. Sonakshi will be seen playing the role of Yasmin, which is said to be based on the life of 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' actress Mandakini, a young, innocent girl who aspires to be an actress and how her life changes after she falls in love with a gangster. There will also be a love triangle between Imran Khan, Sonakshi and Akshay. The sequel, produced by Balaji Telefilms, will go on floors in August.
