The buzz is gaining ground that Kangna Ranaut might just takeover from Vidya Balan as the heroine of the Ishqiya sequel, Dedh Ishqiya.  Arshad Warsi, one of the male leads in the series, has confirmed that Kangna just has to finish the formalities of signing the dotted line.

Director Abhishek Chaubey has already said the sequel will have two heroines, and he wants Madhuri Dixit as one of the female leads. Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi return as the heroes. If the rumour is indeed true, Kangna has beaten hollow Rani Mukerji's desperate attempts to get into the Ishqiya sequel. No sooner was it announced that Vidya is no longer a part of the sequel, than reports suggested that Rani had started campaigning to get the role.
