The movie is said to be inclusive of sarcasm, twists and parody, with the story apparently beginning from where the first installment ‘Dhamaal’ had ended. The film is completely a downright hilarious movie that has all the prerequisites for a family to cheerfully appreciate and enjoy it for its new kind of adventure and comic delight.Cast and crew The sequel boasts of a heavy duty star cast which includes Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Aashish Chowdhary, who were seen in the original also.

The glam attraction in ‘Double Dhamaal’ is actresses Mallika Sherawat and Kangna Ranuat. Produced by Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar, ‘Double Dhamaal’ has been extensively shot in Mehboob Studio, Mauritius and Hong Kong. The slapstick story and screenplay have been tailored and written by Tushar Hiranandani, while the crisp editing and the camera angles has been rendered by Sanjay Sankla and Aseem Bajaj.

‘Double Dhamaal’, which hangs on to the sweet amusements that were seen in the prequel also, has the sizzling item number ‘Jalebi Bai’ by Mallika Sherawat, which is believed to be made in par with Malaika Arora Khan’s ‘Munni Badnaam’ and Katirna’s ‘Sheila ki Jawani’. The music in ‘Double Dhamaal’ has been composed by Anand Raj Anand, while the lyrics have been penned by Mayur Puri.

There is also a footing tapping song ‘Oye Oye' taken from 1989’s film ‘Tridev’, which has been remixed to meet today’s audiences preferences. Synopsis The four characters Adi (Arshad Warsi), Boman (Aashish Chowdhary), Ritesh (Roy) and Manav (Jaaved) get to see the corrupted cop Kabir (Dutt), who lives an ostentatious life in luxury, and this makes them annoyed and jealous. They come up with a plan to somehow share his affluence and to threaten Kabir so that he would make them his business partners. And what follows from here is a funny joyride with twists and turn.
