Kollywood seems to have become a hot new destination for our Bollywood actress. Dabanng girl Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up to debut in Tamil film Vishwaroopam opposite Kamal Haasan and now Sonam Kapoor has been approached for a Tamil film opposite Vijay.

According to an industry insider, the untitled film will be directed by Ghajini fame AR Murugadoss. As far as Vijay is concerned, the actor is busy shooting the Tamil remake of 3 Idiots, Nanban with Shankar. Apparently Murugadoss, who has recently completed his 7am Arivu with Suriya and Shruti Haasan, wants to get on with his next. He already has Vijay's consent for the film while Sonam is yet to confirm. It is also believed that it is a big budget project backed by Fox Star Studios.
