Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, who has movies like 'Ghulam' and 'Raaz' to his credit, completed two decades in the Hindi film industry Tuesday. It's been quite a ride, he says. "There has been a lot of pain, suffering, euphoria, annihilation and joy," said Vikram.
"20th March '92 my first day as a director. 20 years today. Such a long journey! I survived," Vikram wrote on Twitter. The director calls Mahesh Bhatt his teacher in the industry and reveals what he went through in these 20 years.
He calls Mahesh Bhatt his "teacher" and thanks him for all that he has learnt in the industry. Vikram also put up a scanned picture of a note that Mahesh Bhatt wrote to him on the first day of the shoot. The note read: "Vikram, remember this is a journey of the alone to the alone. Wish you a happy journey and safe landing. Love, Mahesh."
Vikram's last project was the stereoscopic film 'Haunted 3D' and upcoming is 'Dangerous Ishq', which marks the comeback of actress Karisma Kapoor to Bollywood. The film also features Rajneesh Duggal, and is set for release in May.
