She made her debut in 2009 with Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite Madhavan. The actress has acted in films like Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Tehzeeb, Dum and Pareenita.

She wants to direct socially relevant films. The 29 year old actress told that she wants to direct a people driven film. She bagged the crown for Miss Asia Pacific in the year 2000.

Failing to make a mark in the industry, Dia stated that for her success is relative and that it depends completely on one’s perception.

The first look of Love Breakup Zindagi will be shown in the upcoming IIFA weekend which will take place in Toronto. The film stars Zayed Khan and Dia Mirza in the lead pair.
