Akki’s next film ‘Special Chabbis’ will be shot in his hometown Delhi and the state of Punjab. Not too long ago, this hunk of an actor had confessed that he is still a Delhiite at heart and now he has expressed his undying love for his roots.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “Akshay is always keen to shoot in Punjab as he considers it a good omen. All his movies which were shot in rural Punjab were hits.” ‘Namastey London’, ‘Singh Is King’ ‘Joker’ and many of his films have been shot in the land of five rivers.
