In the war of one-upmanship in Bollywood, even a rupee determines the rise and fall. If media reports are to be believed, superstar Salman Khan wants a pay cheque fatter than that of his contemporary, Shah Rukh Khan, even if the amount is higher by a rupee.

B-town has been abuzz with the reports that for his next - Ek Tha Tiger - Salman wanted a fee higher than that of his archrival, SRK. However, to him the hike was irrelevant as he was content with even a token amount of Re 1 to top the SRK's fee.

According to rumours, Salman walked an extra mile to steal a glance at SRK's contract. Salman has entered the Yash Raj camp, where SRK is a blue-eyed boy, with Ek Tha Tiger. When Headlines Today contacted Salman, he shot down the reports.
