While romcoms ruled all of February, Bollywood now seems to be shifting gear to thrillers. Industrywallahs point out that apart from the recent Chaar Din Ki Chandni, there are now hardly a handful of romcoms in the line-up all year through and these will be heavily interspersed with thrillers, action or otherwise.

“Starting with Kahaani, the focus will now shift to thrillers, and there are all sorts there, right from action to romantic thrillers. It’s going to be a change in the flavour ahead for sure,” says trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
