Shilpa Shetty's Rajasthan Royals beat Shahrukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders: While Shilpa Shetty won her opening IPL4 game, Shah Rukh's team was beaten yet again! Shilpa Shetty may have not had a rocking career in films, in spite of her being gorgeous and talented but she is proving on to be a way better entrepreneur and team owner than Shah Rukh Khan when it comes to the IPL.

Speaking about role reversal, Shilpa who co-owns Rajasthan Royals has had a better track record at the IPL in all its previous seasons when compared to Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders. In Bollywood, it has been the exact opposite!

Shilpa's team even bagged the IPL title in the first season and though it's too early to comment, things don't seem to have changed much for KKR in this season either. In spite of having players with great potential, SRK's team hasn't been able to break that jinx. KKR also has IPL4's costliest player Gautam Gambhir as its skipper!


While Shilpa's Rajasthan Royals won their opening game which seemed out of their reach, Kolkata lost its first game of the season by mere 2 runs, as they chased a target that seemed pretty gettable.

While Shah Rukh chose not to say anything after the match, his partner and co-owner Juhi Chawla said, "Haar ke aage hi jeet hai. Never say die. Never give up ...ziddi hain hum ...KKR. No apologies, No excuses, Hua so hua. We move on ...and try harder next time."

Shilpa tweeted, "Sweet thrill of winning. Never won the 1st game in 4yrs ever! Felt good for a change. Thanks so much for al the good wishes. Go Royals."Lets hope Shah Rukh's team is able to create that much needed magic in the stadium as his films create at the box office.
