Ali Zafar strives for originalityPakistani actor Ali Zafar, whose multi-faceted personality has his fans in awe, says a lot of people inspires him in his pursuit for creativity, but he strives for originality in all his works. "In painting I idolise (Vincent) van Gogh, Leonardo Da Vinci, Mark Rothko...it is a long list. But in art, everyone should have their own innovative style and it takes time. Since childhood I have strived for originality - be it music, acting, painting or something else," said the 31-year-old said, whose London, Paris, New York released Friday.

But when it comes mathematics, Ali is not an expert. "What I don't know how to do is to lie and I don't know how to solve the theorems and equations of mathematics. I am very weak in that," he said.

Ali, who is just three films old in Bollywood and is already being compared to Kishore Kumar, says Indian film industry has space for good talent. "It is the biggest film industry in the world and being the biggest, I think there is a lot of room in Bollywood for good talent. If you work with dedication, this industry will give you a lot of love."

"The industry has proved that if you have talent, good intentions and hard work, it will accept you even if you are from somewhere else," said Ali, who garnered praise for his work in his debut film Tere Bin Laden. He has also been roped in by David Dhawan for the remake of 1981-cult comedy Chashme Buddoor.
