It was a bonding with an international feel, as Anil Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat met on the sets of Tezz yesterday. The sex-siren who was shooting for her item song Laila Laila in the film was apparently delighted to meet the actor, who’s playing a cop in the action thriller. A source present on the sets reveals the two apparently were very cordial and even chatted up about their work.

Considering Los Angeles is now as good as Mallika’s second home and Anil too seems to have enough friends there, it would be easy to guess that the two not only had work related to Bollywood to gossip about, but also Hollywood. Also, it won’t be surprising to know that the two would by now even have more common friends out there than they have here.

An insider adds, “Mallika is quite popular in LA, and so is Anil. Interestingly, both of them have also worked on international projects on a large scale. Besides, that they both have been attending big events and hobnobbing with the film fraternity there, so the two are likely to have common friends, for sure.” As for the song for which the shoot was on, a source reveals that it may also have cameos by the lead actors including Ajay Devgn and Anil. “Mallika is very excited about the song and even after the shot, she couldn’t stop humming the sexy number,” added the source.
