The shooting of Ajay Devgn and Kangana Ranaut starrer TEZZ was brought to a halt for sometime by the Shiv Sainiks. According to reports, actress Mallika Sherawat, who is doing an item number 'Laila' in the action flick, was shooting at the Filmistan Studios when some Shiv Sena members unexpectedly arrived to check on the foreigners present for the shoot. Apparently, the Shiv Sainiks didn't want foreigners to shoot for a Hindi movie in Maharashtra.

However, the production head explained them that the foreigners were needed for a minor part of the scene and the shoot with them will be wrapped up within no time. Since the film's story is set in London, they had a couple of foreigners playing the cop coming to check Ajay and Zayed, while Mallika is performing. Later, the issue was sorted out and the shoot began immediately. Directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Ratan Jain, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, Sameera Reddy and Boman Irani.
