Actor Imran Khan is so enraged by the Maharasthtra government's decision to raise the age limit for drinking that he is planning to take the government to court. But Imran is not the only one outraged by the government order. Much of Bollywood simply can't comprehend why the state government came out with such a decision. The refrain is similar across the age barrier in tinsel town: At 25, it is simply too ridiculous to be told what you can do and what you can't.

It's not only the young brigade, which is backing Imran. Mega star Amitabh Bachchan also described the government decision as strange. The Big B tweetted: "On drinking age limit increased to 25! old and mature enough to vote for the country, or join army...and fight for the nation...but not old and mature enough to be told when you are allowed to drink ???? Strange?!!!!" "I do not drink, do not eat meat, or smoke...but out of my own personal choice…no one forced me to do it!!" Big B tweeted.
