'Veer’ producer drags Salman to court It looks like ‘Veer’ producer Vijay Galani is not giving up without a fight. A few months ago, Salman had accused Galani of not paying his dues for the film amounting to Rs 15 crores, a charge which the maker denied.

Then the film governing body FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine employees) banned him from filmmaking following a complaint by Salman. Galani challenged this ban recently.

Now, the maker has filed a legal complaint against FWICE. Galani told a leading newspaper, “The Non-Cooperation Directive issued against me is illegal. If it had to be issued, it had to be in conjunction with AMTPP (Association of Motion Pictures Producers’ Association). But AMTPP has not endorsed it. I can make a film whenever I want to. This is sheer torture. I want to resolve this. I have done no wrong.”

The producer further added that he had been wrongly accused of not paying Salman’s dues and the actor himself hadn’t mentioned it whenever he met him. However Salman’s camp isn’t letting go off the matter so easily. A source close to the actor told the newspaper that the actor was willing to fight the producer in court.
