Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah is in Lahore on a personal visit during which he will be offering tips to Pakistani students of film and theatre. The 61-year-old actor will be meeting students and enthusiasts but wants to avoid any kind of interaction with the media, his host Yousaf Salahuddin said today.
"Shah sahab came to Lahore last Saturday. He is here on a personal visit and is delivering lectures to a group of students on film and theatre at Gulberg privately," Salahuddin said. Asked whether Shah would meet the media during his trip, Salahuddin said he had asked the actor regarding this but he had not shown any interest. Shah will return to India tomorrow.
Shah acted in the Pakistani blockbuster Khuda Key Liye and performed on stage in Lahore in 2006, when he appeared in Ismat Apa Kay Naam, a play that was performed at the Alhamra Cultural Complex. His recent release The Dirty Picture has performed well at the box-office in Pakistan.
