Randeep Hooda is a very happy man these days. Eleven years after he last shared the screen with his guru and idol Naseeruddin Shah in Monsoon Wedding, he has been roped in for another project starring the legend.

Titled John Day, the film will be produced by Anjum Rizvi (A Wednesday) and directed by Abhishor Solomon, and is being pegged as an edge-of-the-seat tale of vendetta. Randeep and Shah have worked in multiple theater productions since Monsoon, and are said to get along like a house on fire.
