On March 7, an array of stars – old and new – will head to Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm, to be part of the Gr8 Women Awards. In the ever-expanding guest-list, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, Neha Dhupia, Mahima Chaudhry, legendary actress Asha Parekh and Poonam Dhillon are the names confirmed to attend. Next week will see a few celebrities sign up for the event that underlines girl power.

As the title suggests, the GR8 Women Awards night is a nod to the women have made sizeable contribution to the world of cinema, arts, medicine, business among others. Last year, the inaugural event in Dubai turned out to be a star-studded, grand affair with actors including Preita Zinta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shatrugnan Sinha and South Indian actress Khusboo gracing the event.
