Actor Prateik is a bundle of nerves as he talks to us about his recently released film, Ek Deewana Tha with newcomer, Amy Jackson. He has been getting messages and calls from people but he, as always, is nervous. “I am really nervous. All my fingernails are gone. But thankfully, it has been good so far. Actually, each time before my film releases, I get really nervous.”

Besides his film of course, he has been in the news of late for his supposed relationship with his co-star, UK supermodel, Amy Jackson. While there were rumours that they are supposedly dating, he brushes it all aside and says they are great friends. “Amy and I are definitely very close. We are not in a relationship, but we love each other. We share a very close bond.”

Ask him if she fits the bill of being the woman of his dreams and he says, “Of course. She is breathtakingly beautiful and a great person to be with.” And what about the kiss that transpired between them that went viral. “Oh that was true. It was New Year’s Eve and we were all celebrating. The next thing we knew, suddenly out of nowhere, Amy and I were kissing. On realising what had happened, we laughed it off after a little bit of initial awkwardness,” he confesses.

The actor who is also good friends with cricketer, Yuvraj Singh sends him a get-well-soon message. “Yuvi and I are pretty friendly. We work out at the same gym and have gone out a couple of times. I wish him a super speedy recovery. He is someone, the country needs. He has made us proud on many occasions and I hope to see him back in action very soon.”
