Grabs from a leaked video of producer Mahesh Bhatt’s upcoming film, Blood Money, are creating a lot of buzz online. A love-making scene between actors, Kunal Khemu and VJ-turned-actor Mia Uyeda, has taken the internet by storm. Bhatt, who is evidently furious says, “I am upset that this is being called a leak from our end to get attention. It goes against the profile of our film.”

Mahesh“Blood Money is not a film like Murder. These leaked images won’t help the film. They will create the wrong kind of buzz since the clips don’t represent the essence of the film,” adds the 63-year-old. In the leaked scene, Kunal’s character has a momentary lapse of judgement and gets lured into being intimate with Mia’s character. Consequently, he feels guilty upon regaining his senses.

Blood Money is supposedly inspired by Bhatt’s earlier film, Naam, released in 1986. “In Naam, the hero is involved in illegal activities by choice, as he wants to make money. But in Blood Money, the hero falls into it by accident. The story is about being morally sound, until someone tempts you. Millions of youngsters go abroad with stars in their eyes, but in the movie, Kunal’s character’s dream turns into a nightmare,” reveals Bhatt.

The thriller releases on March 30, and also stars actor Amrita Puri. The Dirty Picture (2011) promo was leaked online before the launch. n The Housefull 2 promo featuring producer Sajid Nadiadwala dancing, was shot from a cell phone and released on the Internet. n Tera Kya Hoga Johnny (2008) was created a shock as the whole film was leaked just days before its release. n Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri’s kissing scene in Rockstar (2011) also made the rounds on the Internet.
