Actress Deepika Padukone will soon be seen sharing screen space with the super star of the south Rajnikanth. Deepika spent the last couple of days in Chennai doing some preliminary works for 'Kochadaiyaan'.

It is learnt that Kochadaiyaan will be India's first film to be made using complete performance capturing technology. Sources say that Deepika was scanned in Chennai on Monday to bring her body language and expressions clear and authentic on screen.

"Deepika had co-operated with director Soundarya R Ashwin and other technicians a lot. In fact, she was so happy to see her name along with that of Rajini's in the latest print advertisements of Kochadaiyaan. She considered it as a great honour," sources say. It is also learnt dancer Sivasankar is planning to direct a song sequence on Rajinikanth where he will dance like Lord Siva for three minutes.
