Kareena Kapoor wants to popularise mujra dance formKareena Kapoor looked smouldering when she arrived at a south Delhi mall to unveil the first look of her highlight mujra number in the upcoming film Agent Vinod on Sunday evening. The idea of launching a single song - as opposed to the film itself - may seem like an odd publicity gimmick, but the flash crowd of 1,000-odd onlookers who had gathered in no time at the mall on hearing of Kareena's arrival was certainly not complaining.

The Bollywood superstar looked radiant in a shiny, flowing green off-shoulder number duly accessorised by a heavy kundan necklace. The crowd would have loved to see boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, who co-stars with her in Agent Vinod , at the do too. However, Kareena was accompanied by the film's co-producer Dinesh Vijan.

Even as Kareena unveiled the first look of the mujra, Dil mera muft ka, she was surrounded by fans who seemed delirious at the mere sight of the actress. "I want the mujra to become a trend in Bollywood once again because this traditional dance form has lost out on popularity. Just as I made size zero a popular trend, there is every possibility that my mujra number will make the dance form popular again too," declared Kareena.

Asked if she would be doing more item numbers, she replied: "There are rumours that I am doing a few item numbers, but I have no such plans. The only item number I did was in the film Don, which was an exception." When someone pointed that her outfit in Dil mera muft ka lacked the traditional touch, Kareena said: "The outfit I am wearing in the song has the famous Pakistani embroidery called kasidakari. In the film, the mujra sequence is performed in the Pakistan Embassy, so the outfit has a traditional touch of that country," she said.

While Agent Vinod is a spy thriller, Kareena insisted that she doesn't have much action scenes in the film. "I don't like action films. So, in this film I refrained from doing any. It was Saif's idea to make an action film as he gets excited about the genre. He wanted a film with lots of fight sequences," Kareena said.

Although she chose to stay mum about her impending marriage or engagement, she said she wasn't quite excited about Valentine's Day. "Saif and I never have any special celebration on Valentine's Day. In fact, he doesn't even remember the date and I have to remind him. He believes every day is a Valentine's Day," she grinned.
