Amitabh Bachchan is recuperating in a Mumbai hospital after his abdominal surgery last week. The actor was supposed to be discharged from the hospital on Monday, but after he complained of pain, he has been advised to stay back for a few more days.

But this has not stopped any filmmaker from approaching him for work and the latest director who wants to work with him is Malayalam filmmaker Blessy. Blessy's movie will be a remake of his film- Malayalam blockbuster Pranayam- which was a huge success. The director is planning to cast Amitabh in Mohanlal's role in the movie.

Amitabh has not signed many films since he finished shooting for his cameo in Ram Gopal Varma's Department. In the coming year, he is committed to host the sixth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and shoot for Shirish Kunder's movie.
