Salman Khan might have missed the wedding celebration of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, but the big hearted star has plans to make it up for his close friends in a grand way. According to sources, Sallu has planned a holiday vacation as a gift for the newlyweds.

Sources confirm that a proposal to host a grand bash for Riteish and Genelia was mooted, but ultimately discarded, largely because of Sallu’s health and work preoccupations.

About his absence from the wedding, a friend of the ‘Dabangg’ star said, “Salman was completely cut off in Cuba and couldn’t make it to the wedding, but he has been planning just how to mark the occasion.” Talking to a daily, a source said, “Salman has already sent his best wishes to the couple. He’ll meet them as soon as he is back in the city.” Well, it seems there are still more surprises in store for Riteish and Genelia.
