The couple along with their daughter not formally named yet left for Goa on Sunday night, which incidentally was also Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday. Abhishek has been caught up with work non-stop after the birth of his daughter, while Aishwarya Rai has been busy fulfilling the motherly duties.

The duo needed a break and it came just at the right time. A day before Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday, director and friend Rohit Shetty, quite thoughtfully, wound up the shoot of his film Bol Bachchan thereby giving Abhishek a few days’ rest.

The actor decided to take his wifey Aishwarya who hasn’t been out of the Jalsa in a while, let alone Mumbai, out on a holiday to Goa. Since the birth of her daughter, Aishwarya Rai has been seen out only on two occasions: first, when Oprah Winfrey arrived in India; second at the Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s wedding reception a few days back.
