Vivek gives newcomers ticket to BollywoodWay back in 1998, Salman Khan gave a break to music composers Sajid-Wajid in Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. Fourteen years later, the composer duo’s nephews Amjad-Nadeem are set to make their debut in the Vivek Oberoi-starrer Zilla Ghaziabad and Kismat Luv Paisa Dilli (KLPD). Apparently, Vivek went out
of his way to recommend the duo to the producers of the films. Alongside Amjad-Nadeem, Shabbir Ahmed has also been roped in as the lyricist.

“When they first met Vivek, he was very impressed with their work. So, he asked them to compose a few songs. And when he heard them, he decided to help them bag their first lot of films,” says a source close to the actor. Interestingly, Amjad and Nadeem are expected to compose music for Vivek’s forthcoming films too.

“Yes, Amjad-Nadeem are making music for Zilla Ghaziabad and KLPD. They are very talented boys. If I have the means to promote new talents, why shouldn’t I?” says the actor, who is currently shooting for KLPD, produced by Amit Chandrra and Krishan Chaudhery of Delhi-based Shristhi Cine Entertainment. Apparently, Salman’s protégées Sajid-Wajid are grateful to Vivek for giving their nephews their big break into the industry. “They recently met Vivek at one of the parties and couldn’t stop thanking him for doing it. But Vivek told them that he will help whoever is talented,” says the source.

The Shootout At Lokhandwala actor reveals that he isn’t just rooting for Amjad-Nadeem, but has been trying to promote and help other young musicians in the past few months. “They come to me, I listen to their work and if I like the songs, I keep them in my Vivek Oberoi song bank,” he says, adding, “Whenever I feel a film has situations for such songs, I give it to the makers. I have many songs in my album. I have given out a few to Amit Chandrra (producer of KLPD) too.”
