Bollywood actress Asin, who was scheduled to make an appearance at the premiere of her film, Ready, in Dubai on Wednesday, might not make it to the UAE. The actress has told tabloid! her passport has been held up at the British Embassy in New Delhi. "I was planning to fly to London for a month to shoot for Housefull 2 and was applying for the UK travel permit. So my passport is still with them. As of now, my chances of coming to Dubai look bleak. But if I get it by tomorrow, I will be there," she said over the phone from Mumbai.

The actress was scheduled to make an appearance alongside Bollywood titan Salman Khan on the red carpet at Grand Cineplex on Wednesday, followed by an after-party at Trilogy nightclub. "I still remember the magical time I had during the Dubai premiere of London Dreams. I was really looking forward to repeating that experience with Ready. I hope I don't miss out, I will be heart-broken."Meanwhile, the local organiser, Sameer Khan, of Times Square Events, is confident that Ready hero Khan will make up for Asin's absence. "We have Asin's travel papers and tickets in our hands. It will be great if she comes, but Salman Khan will surely fill in nicely and make the premiere memorable," said Khan.
