With Valentines' Day fast-approaching, just about everyone's getting ready to find love all around. Keeping these sentiments in mind, actors Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor were in Dubai over the weekend to promote their rom-com Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (EMAET).

Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar and Ronnie Screwvala, the film's lead pair went around town. On Friday night, Imran walked into Pulse nightclub at Movenpick Bur Dubai which was bursting with fans. On Saturday afternoon, the pair went to At The Top, Burj Khalifa, for a photo opportunity and then to Arabian Center, Mirdiff, for a roadshow where they met with more fans.

Earlier in the day, in a press conference held at the Ritz Carlton-DIFC, the lead pair saw promotional footage of their film as well as two snippets of songs for the very first time. "I can't believe I'm saying this about one of my own films but it looks so refreshing," said a visibly elated Kapoor. "I think Aahatein has come out very well and the accompanying video looks really cool," said Khan, referring to a song. "We both like the song, which is a sad romantic number."

When asked if EMAET was anywhere close to her blockbuster movie ‘Jab We Met', Kapoor said: "Every role and movie cannot be Jab We Met. With this film Imran is the ‘difference'. He is very talented and immensely likeable as a person, too. You cannot help but get inspired by his youthful energy mixed with maturity. This movie is not a typical rom-com. It will make you think. People will be surprised by the story and hopefully will enjoy it.

"I haven't done this type of a role in a long time," added Kapoor about her character, Riana Braganza. "Recently I have been doing lots of ‘desi girl' roles like in Bodyguard and Ra.One, but this role has really tested my acting skills because she is a very realistic part to play. The dialogues are much more difficult." Later Khan told the media that he would be sharing a video travelogue of the promotional tour with everyone across the world. The film, a romantic-comedy, featuring Imran and Kareena in the lead, will release on February 09 in the UAE.
