Agneepath has set the cash register ringing in its first weekend at the Box Office. The movie, which opened to full houses on the Republic Day (January 26), managed to make good business at the domestic Box Office in the four-day weekend.

According to traders, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt starrer Agneepath has approximately collected Rs. 69 crore in the first weekend. As we reported earlier, it fetched Rs. 23 crore on the first day. However, the collections were dropped on Friday, as it was a working day and earned only Rs. 12.75 crore.

However, on Saturday, Agneepath made a better business by raking in Rs. 15.85 crore and ended the big weekend by collecting approximately Rs. 17.5 crore on Sunday. This is the biggest collection for the first weekend in 2012. Karan Johar's Agneepath is a remake of the 1990 Hindi film of the same name. The latest version is directed by debutant Karan Malhotra.
