Bindra approached the Malad police on Saturday with the complaint that she has been getting threatening phone calls from an international number.  According to the police, an unidentified caller has used abusive language against Dolly Bindra and even issued death threat to her. The police clarified that no extortion demand was made.

The police has registered a non-cognizable case following Bindra’s complaint. Dolly Bindra stays in Malad West and the police is said to be looking into the possible angle of someone calling her from Mumbai itself but using an international SIM card as a ruse.

Bindra was the star of the last year’s Bigg Boss. She had a bone to pick with almost every contestant inside the house and was almost always on a short fuse. The police is also looking at the possible angle of anyone with a past grudge against Bindra making the calls.
